Pretty much only comic book geeks ha...Thanks Mary. Pretty much only comic book geeks have heard of comic book board. I couldn't remember where we ordered it from, so I googled comic book board. Apparently, both Amazon and Wal-Mart sell it; although, I don't know if Wal-Mart sells it in the stores or just online. You will notice if you go to order it, it will be labeled silver, gold or current. That refers to the size of the comics that it goes with. The silver age and gold age comics are a different size than the comics out now. I love your alcohol ink samples, and I've never heard of the comic book board before. Where does one find this product? I've not had great luck using photo paper either, but this technique does work well on the plastic packaging as you've shown here. You picked some very pretty color combo-s too. Another surface is using soda can metal - it's thin & you may need to do several coats, drying in between to get your desired look. Each of the cards are just really pretty & so festive.
